Welcome to "Ask an Artist" – a talk series where you can ask graffiti and street artists all your questions!

Are you curious about a specific technique, or wondering how to nurture your own creativity in everyday life? Perhaps an artist’s perspective can offer new ways of approaching a topic – or simply remind us to view life with more playfulness and joy. Artists can inspire us in countless ways to discover our own creative voice.

This time, you’ll meet Mikal Bøckman, also known as Flexi Aukan – a visual artist, musician, and activist from Hauketo, with roots in Chile. He blends his heritage of political activism with the raw energy of graffiti and street art to create powerful public artworks where rage and joy coexist.

There will also be a presentation by the Norwegian Students’ and Academics’ International Assistance Fund (SAIH), who collaborated on the theme behind the largest mural to date at Oslo Street Art Festival.
