Sling

Sling is an Oslo-based artist who paints two-dimensional, floral patterns inspired by traditional Norwegian rosemaling (“rose paintings”): a traditional form of decorative folk art that originated in the rural valleys of Norway. She is widely recognised as one of Oslo´s leading female street artists, and has been commissioned twice by Statsbygg to paint large-scale temporary artwork as part of the development of the new National Museum in Oslo in 2017 and Regjeringskvartalet in 2021.
