Caroline Borge (b. 2001 in Lørenskog) is a second-year student at Einar Granum art school in Oslo.
In her own words: “I mainly work with ink, watercolour and graphic techniques, with motifs based on observation. I am particularly interested in people and how we relate to each other and our surroundings. I look at postures, interaction and the space that arises between us. Therefore, the everyday person is a central motif in my pictures. I usually work in small formats in a style that lives at the intersection between the low-key and the expressive. You have to stop, lean in and take your time to get a good look at them. With this small act, I hope that I can create moments of calm and stillness in a world that is raging on.”
