Øivin Horvei (b. 1977) is a multidisciplinary artist who creates wall paintings, mixed media works on paper and canvas, photos, videos, installations, motorized sculptures and publications.
He has produced numerous large-scale public artworks for clients such as Oslo Prison, NTNU and Charlottenlund High School in collaboration with KORO, and recently completed assignments at Trosterud Metro Station for Oslo Municipality; the Children's Department at Oslo University Hospital at Ullevål; and Vikabandet (Norway's longest building) in Mo i Rana for Rana Utvikling.
He has been featured in numerous publications, including Juxtapoz Magazine, The New York Times, and D2. He is also the creator of the children's book K. Mustermann, published in Norway, Germany and China.
