Christoffer Henriksen aka Salke (b. 1997) is a self-taught visual artist who started painting graffiti at the age of 10.
Salke’s philosophy is evident in his eye-catching mural at Københavngata 4: he wants to make people smile and uses bright colors (also known as 'happy colors') to achieve this. Vivid red, pink, yellow and orange are proven to have an uplifting effect on our mood and can make you feel more optimistic. Salke has used plenty of happy colours on this wall, which is seen differently depending on whether the entrance to Grünerløkka brewery is open or closed.
